The FDLE Forensic Laboratory system is comprised of six regional laboratories which are accredited through ANAB (ANSI National Accreditation Board) in the field of forensic testing. The Forensic Program has maintained accreditation since 1990. We receive more than 100,000 items of evidence each year across the 10 Forensic Disciplines per year, and handle more than 1M evidence transactions. Many items result in multiple samples or tests and/or are examined by more than one discipline. FDLE laboratory accreditation includes fulfillment of the following requirements:

• FBI Quality Assurance Standards for Forensic DNA Testing Laboratories (2020)
