• Our analysts run periodic checks in databases and forward any leads they may find to the local agency of jurisdiction.

Can a citizen open an analytical case with MEPIC?

• Yes, citizens can request analytical assistance cases as long as the missing person is entered into the Florida Crime Information Center (FCIC).
• If they are under the age of 26, MEPIC will send a missing person reporting form via email.
• If they are 26 years of age or older, MEPIC must reach out to the local law enforcement agency to request permission to open a case.

Can law enforcement open an analytical assistance case with MEPIC?
